KAMPALA, July 30 2015 — Ugandan singing sensation Lilian Mbabazi today announced that she's to hold her first live solo concert, 'Lilian Mbabazi: Up Close and Personal', on 21st Aug. 2015 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
In what is already a highly anticipated musical event, Lilian will showcase some of the hits that have made her a favorite, not just in Uganda but across Africa; These include: Vitamin, Kawa, Danger, Yegwe Weka, Dagala and Many more.
Since 2004, when Lilian burst onto the music scene as part of the pop super group, blu 3, to her stellar solo career, Lilian has continued to thrill audiences with her signature salutary sound. The 21st Aug show promises to be one of the finest Live music experiences Kampala has ever witnessed, as Lilian and her acoustically gifted band, the Sundowners, plan to bring the house down as they entertain fans who have long clamored for the singer to hold just such a concert.
On the same evening, Lilian will also unveil her new self-entitled album, which features such critically acclaimed hits as Simple Girl, Kuuma Obudde and Memories (f/t A Pass).

Lilian signed to Dueces Entertainment Group (DEG) at the beginning of 2015 and this has proved to be a fruitful partnership. Speaking at the media event for Lilian's Up Close and Personal Concert, DEG C.E.O Kaires Odom stated that Lilian is one of the most talented vocalist he has ever worked with and he believes that she'll soon be considered as one of Africa's greatest artists.
Lilian added that she has been looking forward to holding her own solo concert for years now and can not wait for the opportunity to showcase her talent as a live musician, as well as share the material she's been working on:
