Revelers were knocked for six when NRM Secretary General, Kasule Lumumba took to stage just a few minutes off 10pm and literally started campaigning.
“Because according to the rules of KCCA, the show is supposed to end at midnight but we (NRM) have already talked to the ED (KCCA Executive Director), madam Jenifer Musisi and she has allowed to go up to 2am…..Uganda Oyee….NRM Oyee,” she started campaigning cheers and jeers calling her to leave the stage.
Lumumba, however, gave a dumb ear as pressure from the crowd insisted they had listened .
“People, message from the president is, that allow the NRM government to stay in power so that you can continue with this security…. Uganda Oyee…NRM oyee…”
The message prompted the spectators to turn unruly with dirty words and mostly the uncensored ones til she left the stage
