Fashionista Hellen Lukoma has a big heart. On Wednesday, she visited Nakifuma residents in Mukono district and donated goods and clothes worth 10m to a lady who has two lame sons and can’t speak well.
Carrying bags of rice, posho and clothes, she caused commotion in Nakifuma. Immaculate Nakakande has only two boys that were born lame. It was an emotional moment as she delivered the goods to the disadvantaged home.
She later called on fellow artists to come up and support the family especially the lonely old mother who can’t feed and look after the boys. She blasted artists who waste time splashing money and showing off. She advised them to give money to such disadvantaged people who badly need it.
Meanwhile, fellow musician Hajji Haruna Mubiru promised to finish build a full house for the family. We visited the site and construction was going on.
