MP Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine was arrested last week and detained in Makindye military barracks on cases of treason, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
Bobi Wine was paraded before the court-martial in closed doors session in Gulu and later sent to Makindye military barracks.
Since then, several protests have emerged in different parts of the country, demanding for his immediate release.
During the court martial hearing in Gulu, Bobi Wine's case was adjourned till today, Thursday 23rd August and he was expected to be brought before the Makindye military court-martial but our snoops have learnt that the "Freedom" singer will be transferred to Gulu where his case will be heard before being transferred back to Kampala.
An insider has told Howwe that the state is scared of the possible violence and chaos that could arise during the hearing. This could paralyse businesses in the central business district, the heart of the struggling economy.
