Kyadondo East legislator Hon. Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has branded himself as the biggest opposition leader in Uganda.
In his bid to stand against the ruling government, he has on several occasions faced stumbling blocks and the most notable one, was when he was arrested and allegedly tortured by the army and police during the Arua by election chaos.
News on Howwe desk indicates that Bobi Wine has described his arrest during the Arua by election violence as a move engineered by President Museveni to kill him but he was strong enough to resist.
While addressing rallies in Kenya, Bobi Wine told them that, "Museveni sent his boys into my hotel room in Arua to kill me, they hit me with iron bars on the head and i refused to die".
It should be remembered that Bobi Wine's claims come at a time when Dr. Kizza Besigye accused the government of attempting to kill Bobi Wine in order to frame him.
Bobi Wine is currently in Kenya but he is expected to return to Uganda before this week ends.
