Justine Nameere, a daughter of Agriculture minister Vincent Ssempijja, was over the weekend defeated in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries for the Central Region youth parliamentary seat.
The NRM electoral commission returning officer for Central Region youth MP elections, Ms Jane Alisemera Babiiha, declared Ms Agnes Kirabo as winner of the polls that attracted 11 contenders.
Justine Nameere, who had borrowed money from money lenders to facilitate her campaigns with the hope of getting more sums from the party secretariat once she wins was shocked when she emerged third last among the 11 contenders.
Justine Nameere has had a record of accumulating debts.
Last year, she was remanded to Luzira prison over 55M.
Court documents indicated that she sold a Mercedes Benz worth sh55m yet she had placed it as security at Platinum Credits.
