But after few years, he was declared broke, he couldn't keep up with other socialites who chop money like they own oil wells in Dubai.
Socialite Don Bahati has now spoken out on why he doesn’t just throw around money like the rest of the socialites.
“The reason I have kept my money for this long is that I know how to maintain wealth. I’m not going to be broke anytime soon,” he said.
Bahati was appearing on a local television interview where he was asked why he has not been able to match the late Ivan Ssemwanga who was known for organizing high baller parties.
Bahati recently acquired land in different parts of the country, he hopes to set up several businesses including, a coffee farm.
