Kadongo Kamu singer, Hassan Nduga is back in the country after spending a couple of months in jail in South Africa.
Nduga had been arrested due to illegally overstaying in the country.
He says he had moved to S.A to join his family and make some money due to lockdown in Uganda.
“When I reached there, I started working in a salon owned by my brother. I had made a lot of money, but they took it all when they arrested me. They couldn’t believe a foreigner could make a lot of money in a short time,” Nduga said in an interview upon arrival.
He says he is looking forward to resuming his job as a musician. He says he was helped by the National Unity Platform(NUP), friends, family to survive jail.
