Musician Record Ellah Butida was hopeful and confident that he had hit the highs in the music business when he released "Bakabasajja banyuma", a song that propelled him to big heights.
Ellah Record was, however, told to quit music by his mother because she felt he was going astray hanging with drug abusers and abusing drugs himself.
With a hit, Record Ellah became unruly. His mother disowned him.
The singer told the media recently that his life has never been the same again.
His career is stagnant and so is everything else in his life.
“I’m giving my life to Christ and promising to do whatever my mother wants me to do,” he said in an interview.
It’s not yet known what he can do besides music, but we’ll keep tabs.
