Struggling musician Leila Kayondo has denied ever being in a romantic relationship with city socialite SK Mbuga.
In an interview with Sanyuka TV, Kayondo said that the two have never been more than family friends. She said that they grew up together because their grandparents were friends.
"I have never been in love with SK Mbuga," Kayondo said. "It was just friendship, and which goes back to our early years because our grand parents were friends. I knew him when we were still kids."
Kayondo's denial comes after years of speculation about her relationship with Mbuga. The two were often seen together in public, and there were rumors that they were dating. However, Kayondo has always denied these rumors.
"We have never bonked with SK Mbuga," Kayondo said. "We are just family friends."
