Singer Grenade Official's night at Fik Fameica's concert took an unexpected turn when he was apprehended by police due to outstanding charges from 2023. The charges stemmed from a physical altercation with fellow singer Rickman Manrick, resulting in multiple injuries.

Grenade was released on bond secured by Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president and singer Eddy Kenzo. Taking to social media, Grenade expressed remorse for the 2023 incident while expressing optimism for a fresh start in 2024.

"I am deeply disappointed with the events of last year," he stated in a video, "but I am determined to leave it behind and focus on a brighter future." He acknowledged his fans' unwavering support and apologized to those he had hurt, stressing that he never intended to cause harm.

Grenade also extended his gratitude to the UNMF and Eddy Kenzo for their support during this challenging time. "Their unwavering belief in me has given me the strength to move forward," he said.
