In a recent YouTube video, Zari Hassan jokingly told her husband Shakib Cham that she could legally marry another husband in South Africa.
"In South Africa, we can have two husbands. It's a new law here. If you find someone else, I can get a second husband," she shared on their joint YouTube channel.
She playfully suggested that since he, as a Muslim man, can have multiple wives, she, living in South Africa, could have two husbands according to local laws. This banter came about after Zari suspected Shakib of messaging other women.
"Since we're already trying a long-distance relationship, why not explore having four wives and two husbands? It could be a big family," she added.
Zari reassured Shakib that instead of him cheating, she would just add another husband to the family, in a lighthearted way. She playfully concluded by saying he would still be her one and only husband.
"It's not different for you just because you're a man. Instead of cheating on you, I would simply marry someone else," she reassured him.
It seems Zari was trying to address her suspicions in a humorous way.
