While appearing on Ddembe Fm's Talk and Talk show on Saturday 4 July, Gashumba faulted "The Kampala Sun" for an article they published last week putting it that her daughter Aisha Nabukeera will not win the Miss Uganda pageant because Samona is sponsoring her, among other reasons.
"Aisha is already a winner, I will throw a victory party for her whether she is crowned or not, the fact that she picked up the forms makes her a winner" -- he said.
Previous reports say that it was Frank Gashumba's idea that Aisha Nabukeera registers for the most prestigious beauty contest in Uganda ... but Gashumba says he is not responsible for Aisha's decision to Contest in this years pageant,
"Aisha tabled the suggestion and I took it upon myself to back her boldly move".
The Miss Uganda grand finale will be held next Friday 10. July at Club Guvnor.
