State minister for ICT, Hon. Aidah Nantaba has revealed she will with immediate effect join social media plat forms (Twitter, Facebook, and Whatsapp) to catch up with the trend as demanded by her new line of job.
Receiving instruments of power from her predecessor Nyombi Thembo today, Nantaba confessed to not being an IT compliant person but that the president teased by appointing her one.
“Someone was commenting via Facebook, that Nantaba who has been appointed to this docket is not ICT compliant. She is not on twitter, she is not on Facebook, she is not on whatsapp, and the truth is I am not. But finally I have been brought to a place where I will be compelled to be on whatsapp.”
Nantaba became a media darling during her hey days as a junior minister for lands when she fought strong mafias that were grabbing people’s lands especially in her home area of Kayunga.
She will now serve under the leadership of hon. Frank Tumwebaze.
