American rap star Lil Wayne is in the hospital after suffering seizures.
He was taken to the hospital on Sunday, September 3, 2017, after he was found unconscious in his hotel room in Chicago. He was found unconscious according to TMZ. Lil Wayne is said to have suffered at least one seizure.
He was quickly rushed to Northwestern Memorial where he reportedly had another seizure. Lil Wayne is expected to be in the hospital for the next few days even though his team wants him to make a Las Vegas appearance.
This is not the first time Lil Wayne is having a seizure. In 2016, an emergency landing had to be made after the Young Money boss suffered a seizure on a flight.
In 2013, it was falsely reported by TMZ that Lil Wayne had passed on after he was rushed to the hospital after suffering multiple seizures.
He was in intensive care for over a week. TMZ reported that the rap star's stomach had to be pumped three times based on the suspicion that he had overdosed on codeine.
Meanwhile, Lil Wayne is still dealing with contractual issues between him and Cash Money Records. The back and forth between him and Brian 'Baby' Williams has stalled the release of his "Carter V" album.
