Musician Akon and his wife are in Kampala to seal a deal to construct a second futuristic city in Uganda.
Since he arrived in the country, there have been mixed reactions from different Ugandans.
The majority have welcomed the idea and have been in support while others have branded it a scam.
One of the people that have questioned the superstar’s idea is singer King Saha who is a well-known government critic.
Responding to King Saha's reservations about the project, Bebe Cool claimed those questioning the idea are politically motivated.
During a phone call interview with one of the local radio stations, Bebe Cool explained that most people don’t wish good for the country.
This comes after several tidal opposition supporters through social media platforms claimed that Akon’s trip to Uganda is sponsored by the state to reflect a peaceful country yet in Uganda, but kidnaps and abductions happen every day.
