The nominations for this year's African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) were revealed today, and Eddy Kenzo has a lot to celebrate.
Adding 4 new nominations to his career total, the superstar is now the single most nominated East African artiste in this year's AFRIMMA. The singer is nominated in 4 categories, "Best Collaboration" for the song "Lopangwe" ft. Ivorian singer Serge Beynaud, "AFRIMMA Inspirational Song" for his hit song Be Happy, "Best Male East Africa" and "Artist of the Year".
In the "Artist of the Year" category, Kenzo is put up against African superstars, Flavour (Nigeria), Davido (Nigeria), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Sarkodie (Ghana), Cassper Noyvest (South Africa), Fally Ipupa (Congo), Wizkid (Nigeria), Yemi Alade (Nigeria) and Bucie (South Africa).
Eddy Kenzo and Bebe Cool — who also scooped himself 2 nominations — are nominated in the same category "Best Male East Africa".
