A secret boyfriend of singer Irene Namubiru, Gabriel Epenu, is rumoured to be back fully on TV.
Sources in the NTV Newsroom reveal that Epenu who suffered a terrible accident a few years back is to get back on air soon. Epenu will be a news anchor as before he got an accident.
Epenu was involved in a nasty accident a few years back and his spinal cord was badly damaged. He was admitted for almost two years and at one time, he was feared dead.
By the time of his accident, he had a budding career as a news anchor.
Irene and Epenu were dating before the accident. When Epenu got an accident, Irene tried to take care of him in the hospital but Epenu’s family chased her away. They blamed him for the accident and introducing their sun to a reckless lifestyle.
