Weeks ago, celebrated TV host Edwin Katamba alias MC Kats opened up on being HIV+ for the last 8 years.
With the stigma that comes along, MC Kats is learning to live positively. The former NTV Exposed is motivating and encouraging youth living with HIV to live a focused life, full of dreams.
During an interview over the weekend, MC Kats told his fans to always take their medicines on time and chase their dreams.
“I want to tell all the youth that are positive out there, that being HIV+ is not the end of the world. Don’t think it’s witchcraft. If the doctor tells you that you’re suffering from HIV, go get the right medication. And always remember that you can still be a star,” he said.
It is rumoured that Mc Kats could soon seal a dea with TASO Uganda to to encourage HIV+ youth to live a focused life.
