Democratic Party president Norbert Mao has laughed at those who think that Chameleone is no longer a member of DP.
“Chameleone is still with us. He will stand under DP. Our party is his cake. People Power is the icing,” Mao said while addressing the press.
Mao also said Chameleone will unseat Erias Lukwago.
Chameleone picked nomination forms last week from People Power offices, sparking rumors that he had quit DP.
People Power will, however, endorse candidates across various political parties.
