Solomon Kampala Sekayi Kyagulanyi Nyanzi, the son of Bobi Wine and Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi, is celebrating after winning a bronze medal in the 200m race at the Ultimate Race nights in Dubai over the weekend.
The competition, which is sponsored by New Balance and supported by the Dubai and Abu Dhabi sports councils, sees track and field athletes from around the world compete for medals.
Solomon had been secretly training for the race in the dusty hills of Magere, and his tireless efforts paid off as he finished in third place to claim the bronze medal.
The Ultimate Race nights are powered by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and approved by Lynx Electronic Timing, ensuring the highest standards of competition and accuracy.
